With over 30 years of boating experience, we have used many different davit systems; all of which were too cumbersome and expensive. Every once in a while we come across a unique platform that has an unusual feature on it. For example, the 410 Sea Ray has a ladder directly in the middle of its platform. This would be a problem for most davit systems, but not for ProDav. In order to make our system work we designed a base plate for the davit so it could be installed over the ladder. Not only did the davit system work, but the ladder was still functional after the installation.
If you have tried other davit systems and have had little success, maybe it’s time you choose the only davit system that can be custom tailored for your boat or yacht. Second week of May and our Four Winns is finally in its slip for the season….not too bad considering we haven’t had the best weather lately here in the U.P. Be it quick boat rides, relaxing weekends in Door County, Wisconsin, or furnishing our customers with the next best thing to load and launch their dinghy; we are excited about what this season may bring!
